How To Create a Photo Montage (Frog and Chair photo montage by D.K. Pritchett, with thanks to Philip DeLoach for the finishing touches). The frog still seemed to be floating (see photo at bottom of page, without shadow). The airbrush tool in MS Paint® lacks the subtlety for the next step, and Kodak Easyshare® has no airbrush tool. The frog appeared to be floating. A friend, Philip DeLoach (former guide of The Artist's Exchange forum) used Adobe Photoshop® photo-editing software to add a much-needed final touch: a couple of well-placed shadows under the frog (top photo). Now the frog seemed to have "mass" and was very natural-looking sitting in the chair. Now the frog montage was complete and ready for publication. Please note: This lesson was provided as a tutorial for those who need to edit images, but do not have the most advanced image-editing software. The frog-and-chair photo montage is a copyrighted illustration by D.K. Pritchett of Southern MuseTM.
