This little doll stands only 1 1/2 inches high. The photo is not a grayscale. The doll itself is made on a black-and-white theme to give her an old-fashioned, vintage look. She is wearing a black-and-white dress in a tiny, tiny dogtooth check pattern, with a "big" button at her waist and a black paper bow on the back of her dress. Her hair is black and her head is made of natural-white or off-white cloth. The eyes, eyebrows and lips are embroidered on. Her red lips, pink cheeks and bright red hair ribbon are the only touches of color on the doll. Her head and body are made of cloth. The tiny stick arms and legs are made of paper clay, and hang loosely, like a real rag doll. The dress is very stiff, though, and she stands alone because of it ~ she could be propped very prettily in a corner of the dollhouse child's room. Though somewhat large for a miniature, she is sized to be a "life-sized" toy for your dollhouse doll. She can function as a "toy" for a dollhouse doll that ranges from 1/12 scale to barbie-doll size, and would be a small rag-doll for a Barbie. She is 100-percent handmade.
