Bugbones was my first website. I
had fun with learning to build a site. I had selected the name of Bugbones and I decided to play with the bug theme. I added a few links to entomology sites.
I added my hobby art and illustration. I wanted to add more art, but was held back by my technology. I had a couple of old dinosaurs for computers. The best one was a Compaq Pentium II. I was running Windows 95 (and later 98) and had dial-up Internet service. My only art utility software was Microsoft Paintbrush. I couldn't do gifs or jpegs. I had no scanner and really couldn't afford to buy one. Early on, I scanned a few pieces of art on a friend's scanner. I also tried downloading some free trials of various graphic programs. My computer could barely handle them.
Now, with all new technology and VCom WebEasy software, I hope to build Bugbones into a great new site.
