My Interest in Carpet

Most people in Dalton work in carpet or carpet-related businesses and my family is no exception. My father made warpers and winders (machinery used in tufting). My brother continues to make warpers and parts. I've worked as a temp in the offices of a large carpet manufacturer and I grew up around lots of people who worked in carpet. But art was my thing, from the time I was very young. My interest in carpet is as a citizen. I have a certain amount of small-town pride, as well as an interest in the history of Dalton and Chatsworth. Also, I'm always running into visitors who are trying to navigate their way around Dalton and can't find the outlets. I thought it would be nice to have a guide.
