Spring Place Community FestivalSpring Place Community Festival (near Chatsworth, Georgia) offers old-fashioned fun. Its purpose is to raise money for the Old Spring Place Methodist Church, now a small museum of local history, owned by Whitfield-Murray Historical Society. This is a small community event, open to the public, free of charge. A handful of local vendors sell homemade jams, jellies, baked goods, crocheted or tatted items, and other old-timey things like the ones your grandma (or by now, great-grandma) made.
