Still Here

Well.

My last post was May 2025.

That’s not a “break.” That’s neglect. 😄

I haven’t stopped writing or thinking. I’ve just been doing it everywhere except the blog — in notebooks, scraps, conversations, and whatever passes for sanity in modern life.

I’ve always been the Southern Muse, but I’ve never been a blog-o-matic persona. I’m not built for regular posting, trendy branding, or chirpy “content.”

These days it seems like everyone and their sister is “Southern Muse.” My identity has been usurped by the slow osmosis of time. I don’t think it’s anybody’s fault.

But I’m still here.

And Southern Muse Journal is still home.
